Samsung Galaxy J3 Review

Screen & Body

samsung galaxy j3 prime screenThe Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime was released in April 2017. The phone comes with a 5.00 inch 720 x 1280pixels touchscreen that will fit snugly in your hand if you are not the phablet type.

The 294ppi pixel density wont make you want to gouge your eyes out either.

The screen to body ratio is 69.74 %

Hardware & Performance

samsung galaxy j3 prime backThe J3 Prime is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and 1.5GB RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage for your apps, games and camera pictures. If you are storage hungry you can add up to 128GB via the microSD card slot. All this should be enough to run the Android 7 Nougat OS that comes with the phone plus any additional apps that you may need to install.

The Camera is half-decent, at 5MP you’ll be sharing your cat selfies with your friends on Facebook or Instagram. The 2MP front camera provides a clear view during WhatsApp calls in a well lit environment.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime gives you up to 20 hours of talk time from the 2600mAh removable battery. You can go through a single day before you have to recharge your mobile device.

The phone connects you with your peers via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, 3G or 4G LTE cellular network and you also get GPS navigation.

Editor’s Opinion

Samsung-Galaxy-J3-PrimeThe Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime is a good phone for your teenager or a general phone user who just needs to make calls, play Candy Crush and chat with friends and family.

You will have to buy a phone case and maybe find a protective glass for it as it wont survive a whole lot of drops and falls. The plastic body also feels rather fragile and will need extra care if you work in a rough environment.

The Camera quality is nothing to write home about but it wont make you hate your phone either.

This is a classic example of you get what you pay for.
